Companion care is a type of home care service that helps seniors with day-to-day tasks and social interaction.
Unlike medical healthcare services, companion care focuses on emotional support, social activities, and help with daily routines. This type of senior care helps older adults stay independent in their own homes instead of having to move to an assisted living facility or nursing home.
Arthritis, physical disabilities, and age-related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent patients from caring for themselves. Our caregivers can assist you with daily tasks such as mobility, eating, light housekeeping and laundry.
Some clients might be unable to plan or prepare their meals and the require assistance from caregiver due to underlying medical conditions or age. Our caregiver service help you from grocery store to kitchen to make every step engaging and less of a chore.
A client is eligible for free services if the client is:
Our Homecare Aides speak English and/or Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Sindhi, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Nepali, Spanish, and Russian.
After potential clients submit an application, Care Coordination Units from their respective counties schedule an appointment to evaluate eligibility. Once approved, the CCU will draft a plan of care and assign the client a given number of hours.
The CCP Program also allows seniors to have a family member serve as their Homecare Aide.
